Aguilas del Desierto is not an organization that helps people cross.
Since 1996, over 7000 people have died in our borderland deserts. Aguilas del Desierto began as a way to respond to this humanitarian crisis. Each year we receive over 1000 reports from families desperate for help. Families whose loved ones have gone missing in the deserts along our border. Brothers, sisters, children, wives, and husbands abandoned in the desert because of illness, injury or exhaustion. Aguilas is here to help those who have nowhere to turn or are afraid of repercussions. Our mission is to save lives and bring closure to families.
Desde 1996, más de 7000 personas han muerto en nuestros desiertos fronterizos. Águilas del Desierto comenzó como una forma de responder a esta crisis humanitaria. Cada año recibimos más de 1000 informes de familias desesperadas por recibir ayuda. Familias cuyos seres queridos han desaparecido en los desiertos de nuestra frontera. Hermanos, hermanas, hijos, esposas y maridos abandonados en el desierto por enfermedad, lesión o agotamiento. Águilas está aquí para ayudar a quienes no tienen a dónde acudir o temen las repercusiones. Nuestra misión es salvar vidas y traer un cierre a las familias.
